Gereon Vey is manager of the SAP Emerging Technology Solutions team at SUSE.
Gereon has a long history in the SAP ecosystem, especially covering the infrastructure side of SAP software. He has been on the SAP campus for more than 20 years now, and has strong relationships with SAP and other SAP partners.
Since joining SUSE in 2020, he has been working as a SAP solution architect, driving virtualization and monitoring projects.
Before joining SUSE, Gereon drove the development of Lenovo’s solutions for SAP Data Hub, SAP HANA and other SAP applications, as the lead architect in Lenovo’s SAP solution development team.
As Technical Product Manager at Veritas, Gereon was driving all SAP initiatives for Veritas’ storage and availability management solutions, including partnership management, product management, technical field enablement, sales support and representing Veritas at customers and partners. As a member of the IBM System x Team at the IBM SAP International Competence Center (ISICC) in Walldorf, he was the global subject matter expert for the SAP Appliances, such as SAP NetWeaver BW Accelerator and SAP HANA.
